AFTERCARE
This is the most important part! Its up to you to follow
proper after care to ensure you get the best result.

THE DAY OF TREATMENT: ABSORB
After the procedure, gently blot the area with clean tissue to absorb excess lymph fluid. Removing this fluid prevents hardening of the lymphatic fluids over the brows. (scabbing)

DAYS 1-4: WASH
Wash daily to remove bacteria, build up of product and oils, and dead skin. (Don't worry, THIS DOES NOT REMOVE THE PIGMENT!)
Gently wash your eyebrows each morning and night with water and an antibacterial soap. With a very light touch, use your fingertips to gently cleanse the eyebrows. Rub the area in a smooth motion for 10 seconds and rinse with water ensuring that all soap is rinsed away. To dry, gently pat with a clean tissue. DO NOT use any cleansing products containing acids (glycolic, lactic, or AHA), or exfoliants.
DAYS 1-3 MOISTURIZE
Apply a rice grain amount of aftercare ointment with a cotton swab and spread it across the treated area after cleansing and drying your brows. Be sure not to over-apply, as this will suffocate your skin and delay healing. The ointment should be barely noticeable on the skin. NEVER put the ointment on a wet or damp tattoo.

DAYS 4 - 7
Stop using the moisturizer and completely stop getting them wet. Avoid heavy sweating and submerging your eyebrows in water. This includes swimming, hot yoga, saunas, excessive sweating etc.

After day 7 you can return back to normal

Important Reminders
-
Use a fresh pillowcase while you sleep.

*Important note about showering for the first 10 days:
Limit your showers to 5 minutes so that you do not create too much steam. Keep your face/procedure area out of the water while you wash your body, then, at the end of your shower, wash your hair. Your face should only be getting wet only at the end of the shower. Avoid excessive rinsing and hot water on the treated area.

*Important note for exercising the first 7-10 days:
If you have an active lifestyle, (fitness, yoga, pilates instructor) and cannot avoid working out or being active post microblading treatment - there are a few aftercare instructions you can follow.

MICROBLADING HEALING
Days 1 - 2
Voila, fresh new brows! Textured, dense, a little red and swollen. May be a bit darker and could experience slight bleeding.
Days 3 - 4
Pain and tenderness should subside. Brows are thicker + darker, daydreaming about beach days and waterproof brows.
Day 5
Let them heal.. Brows may start to be itchy. Flakeyness may occur + hair strokes may be hidden. This is all totally normal. Your brows will be back , I promise!
Days 6 - 7
You are still in the healing process. They may be a bit flaky and itchy. Do not pick anything as this could take out the pigments with it. Don't worry, this is all normal + your brows will be back.
Days 7 - 10
Where did they go?! There may be a lot flaking off and your brows will appear way too light, or even gray and missing in some spots. Don't worry. You can fill them in a bit at this point if you need to.
Days 14 - 21
Healing is almost complete! The color and definition of natural hair strokes will start to return. You are free to have those beach days + waterproof brows!

Day 30
Healing is complete! Brows should look soft + natural. Some pigment is lost and you can see where you will want to add in strokes. Don't worry - we will fill those in on your touch up appointment that is right around the corner! See you soon beautiful.
