Eyeliner

PRE-CARE


Preparing the eye area properly helps reduce sensitivity, swelling, and ensures smooth pigment implantation.


1 WEEK BEFORE

  • Avoid lash lifts, lash extensions, or lash tinting

  • Avoid Botox near the eye area

  • Avoid retinols or active skincare around the eyes


48 HOURS BEFORE

  • Avoid alcohol and caffeine

  • Avoid blood thinners (Advil, aspirin, fish oil, vitamin E)

  • Avoid lash serums or growth products


DAY OF APPOINTMENT

  • Arrive with completely clean eyes (no makeup, mascara, or eyeliner)

  • Remove contact lenses before your appointment

  • Eat beforehand to help with comfort


ADDITIONAL NOTES

  • Eyes must be healthy (no irritation, infections, or styes)

  • If you have sensitive or watery eyes, please let us know



AFTERCARE


Healing around the eyes is delicate—keeping the area clean and dry is key for best results.



FIRST 24–48 HOURS

  • Expect mild swelling, redness, and sensitivity

  • Keep the area clean and dry

  • Avoid touching or rubbing the eyes


DAYS 1–7 (HEALING PHASE)


Cleaning

  • Gently cleanse with water or a mild, fragrance-free cleanser

  • Pat dry—do not rub


Care

  • Apply a very thin layer of aftercare ointment if instructed

  • Use clean hands or a cotton swab


WHAT TO AVOID (FIRST 7–10 DAYS)

  • No eye makeup (mascara, liner, shadow)

  • No lash extensions or lash services

  • Do not rub or scratch the eyes

  • Avoid excessive water, steam, or sweating

  • Avoid sleeping directly on your face


HEALING STAGES

  • Light flaking or dryness along the lash line is normal

  • Color will appear darker initially, then soften

  • Some patchiness during healing is normal


WEEKS 2–4 (SETTLING PHASE)

  • Color evens out and softens into the final result

  • Full healing takes about 4–6 weeks


TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS

  • Avoid watery environments early on

  • Keep hands and pillowcases clean

  • Wear sunglasses outdoors to protect the area


WHEN TO REACH OUT

  • Swelling lasting longer than 48 hours

  • Signs of infection (yellow/green discharge, heat, severe pain)

  • Unusual irritation or vision discomfort
