FAUX FRECKLES PRE-CARE



Proper preparation helps ensure even pigment implantation and soft, natural healed results.



1–2 WEEKS BEFORE

  • Avoid excessive sun exposure or tanning

  • Avoid chemical peels, lasers, or strong exfoliation on the face



1 WEEK BEFORE

  • Avoid retinols, acids, or active skincare on the treatment area

  • Keep skin well hydrated



48 HOURS BEFORE

  • Avoid alcohol and caffeine (if sensitive)

  • Avoid blood thinners (Advil, aspirin, fish oil, vitamin E)



DAY OF APPOINTMENT

  • Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin

  • Avoid heavy skincare, oils, or SPF directly before your appointment

  • Eat beforehand for comfort



ADDITIONAL NOTES

  • Skin should be healthy (no irritation, breakouts, or sunburn in the area)

  • Freckles are customized to your skin tone and desired look—healed results will be softer and more natural



FAUX FRECKLES AFTERCARE



Proper aftercare is key to achieving soft, natural-looking freckles that heal evenly.



FIRST 24 HOURS

  • Keep the area clean and dry

  • Avoid touching the face unnecessarily

  • Do not apply makeup over the treated area



DAYS 1–7 (HEALING PHASE)


Cleaning

  • Gently cleanse with water or a mild, fragrance-free cleanser

  • Pat dry—do not rub

Care

  • Apply a very light layer of aftercare ointment if instructed

  • Keep skin lightly hydrated



WHAT TO AVOID (FIRST 7–10 DAYS)

  • Do not pick, scratch, or exfoliate the area

  • Avoid excessive sweating (workouts, saunas, hot yoga)

  • Avoid sun exposure or tanning

  • Avoid active skincare (retinols, acids, exfoliants)

  • Avoid makeup directly over the area for the first few days
