AFTERCARE
(Microblading • Machine Hair Strokes • Powder/Combo Brows)
Proper aftercare is essential for soft, natural healing and long-lasting results.
FIRST 24 HOURS
Gently blot brows with a clean tissue/gauze to remove lymph fluid as needed
This helps prevent heavy scabbing and pigment loss
DAYS 1–7 (HEALING PHASE)
Cleaning
Clean brows 1–2x daily with water or a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser
Use gauze or tissue soaked in water and gentle soap to clean the brows
Pat dry - do not rub
Care
Apply a very thin layer of aftercare ointment as directed
Avoid over-moisturizing
Use the brow shields in the shower to help prevent shampoos/conditioners hitting the brows
Always wear a hat or visor in the sun during healing phase
WHAT TO AVOID (FIRST 7–10 DAYS)
Avoid excessive water, steam, or long showers
Avoid sweating (workouts, saunas, hot yoga)
Avoid makeup on or around the brows
Avoid sun exposure or tanning (wear a hat in the sun)
Do not pick, scratch, or peel
DAYS 7–14 (FLAKING PHASE)
Brows may appear dry, flaky, or patchy
Color may look lighter or uneven temporarily
Do not pick or peel
WEEKS 2–4 (SETTLING PHASE)
Color will soften and gradually return as the skin heals
Final healed results take about 4–6 weeks
TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS
Keep the area clean and lightly hydrated
Use SPF once healed to prevent fading
Avoid active skincare (retinols, acids) directly on brows
WHEN TO REACH OUT
Excessive redness, swelling, or pain
Signs of infection (pus, heat, spreading redness)
Unusual healing or pigment concerns
PRO TIP
Permanent brows heal softer and more natural than they appear initially. Trust the process. Intentional technique and proper aftercare create the most natural, long-lasting results.
