PRE-CARE



Proper preparation helps minimize sensitivity, prevent irritation, and allows for the most precise results.



1 WEEK BEFORE

  • Avoid retinols, acids, or exfoliating products on the treatment area

  • Avoid chemical peels, lasers, or strong skin treatments

  • Limit sun exposure and avoid sunburn



24–48 HOURS BEFORE

  • Avoid exfoliating the area

  • Avoid tanning or heat exposure



DAY OF APPOINTMENT

  • Arrive with clean skin (no makeup, lotions, or oils on the area)

  • Avoid applying SPF directly before your appointment if possible

  • Allow hair to grow out slightly for best shaping results



ADDITIONAL NOTES

  • Do not wax over irritated, broken, or sunburned skin

  • If you are using prescription acne medications or strong topicals, please let us know

  • Skin may be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle




AFTERCARE



Proper aftercare helps calm the skin and prevent irritation or breakouts.



FIRST 24 HOURS

  • Expect mild redness or sensitivity

  • Keep the area clean and avoid touching with unwashed hands



WHAT TO AVOID (FIRST 24–48 HOURS)

  • Avoid heat (hot showers, saunas, steam)

  • Avoid sweating or workouts

  • Avoid sun exposure or tanning

  • Avoid makeup on the treated area

  • Avoid applying active skincare (retinols, acids, exfoliants)



DAYS 2–5 (POST-CARE PHASE)

  • Resume gentle skincare

  • Keep skin hydrated with a fragrance-free moisturizer




WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Slight redness or sensitivity is normal and should subside within a few hours

  • Small bumps may appear temporarily, especially on sensitive skin



TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS

  • Use SPF daily to protect the skin

  • Maintain regular appointments every 3–6 weeks

  • Avoid over-exfoliating between appointments



WHEN TO REACH OUT

  • Prolonged redness, irritation, or swelling

  • Signs of skin lifting or unusual reaction
